Translations
I am an experienced translator and literary consultant offering French to English translation in a number of different subjects. I specialize in academic writing, writing on history and the arts, screenplays, fiction, advertising, and business writing.
Retaining the rhythm and lyricism of a literary text or scholarly article in translation requires close attention to detail. One carefully worded sentence can make or break a marketing campaign. I can help gear corporate copy and publicity toward the American market and deliver complex ideas in a way that makes the translated text a joy to read.
I offer free quotes and consultations. If you have any other translation requests that don't fall into the categories listed here, just ask!
Here are some of the other services I offer:
Subtitling - As a video editor with a background in film, I can add subtitles to your video, along with translating the content.
Copy Editing - Already have an English language piece, but need to make sure it reads well? I am an experienced copy editor and can catch grammatical mistakes while editing for clarity and flow.
Fact checking - For journalism or non-fiction, I offer fact checking and research services.
Indexing - A book's index is a too often neglected part of the reading experience that can make your book an invaluable asset for readers and researchers.
